Up in the sky with God
As we prepared to take one of our many vacations our grandson DJ who was around three years old at time accompanied by his parents came to take us to the airport. As we drove down the highway DJ was very excited he wanted to see the airplanes fly in the sky. Granny he asked where you are going? Granny and Papa are going on an airplane I answered. An airplane in the sky he replied? Yes, I answered, thinking wow he’s got it. But suddenly he asked are you going up in the sky with God? His parents quickly responded to him, so not to make him afraid. But as we boarded the plane I thought about DJ’s question being up in the sky with God. Only if we could take a trip God, how awesome would that be? Then I thought of how being in Prayer and Mediation with God daily takes me away, away to such a peacefully state, He relaxes me, He strengthen me, He restores me. Take a vacation with Jesus, fly away with Him. Go to Him into His dwelling place. Pray.
